Camp Grounds

Flagpole
When the bell rings, campers gather around the flag pole just north of the dining hall to get the latest news, instructions or to begin an All-Camp game.

Pool
Built in the early 90's, the pool has been the center of lots of summer fun, swim lessons and games.

Recreation Field
The camp is built around a large green field which is the best place at camp to run, play parachute games, slip 'n slide and play tag.

Softball Diamond
Campers and staff can walk to the south end of the lake to the Red Willow Resort to enjoy the softball diamonds and also to roller skate in the pavilion.

Campfire Areas
Who doesn't love a campfire? Our campers gather around the large campfire area by the waterfront in the evening, or they can cook over the grill on the game field fire ring near the tipi and tent village.

Red Willow Lake
This small, spring fed lake spills out into wetlands on the north end of the lake through Bible Camp land. The lake is quiet during the week when our campers are here and is a great place for a pontoon ride, a canoe race, or a leisurely paddleboat ride.

Tipi Village
In 2006, our new Tipi Village was erected on the west side of the lake on camp land. It can be seen from the retreat center and waterfront. Campers stay there for several days during outback challenge camp or may spend a night in the tipis during some of the other camps.

Cross Hill
When people think of Red Willow Bible Camp, they think of Cross Hill. The three crosses representing the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins is at the center of our message. We live because of His death. We celebrate the resurrection and the promise of eternal life.

Trails
Red Willow's camp grounds feature 5 miles of trail through the beautiful rolling prairie. This summer our trail system will get an upgrade: names and signs! We will also set up a sign board at the trail heads to guide our hikers, mountain bikers and trail riders.

Rock Altar
This area has a breathtaking view of the camp to the west. The summer of 2007 boys worked very hard to develop Rock Altar as a camp site, a place for mediation and devotions, and a place to drink in the beauty of the camp.
