Red Willow Bible Camp and Ofstedal Retreat Center is open year-round to host your church, club, or organization's next retreat or meeting.

About Our Facilities

Our year-round Ofstedal Retreat Center just turned 40, and is undergoing some welcome renovation. Most of the windows have been replaced, sleeping quarters have been remodeled, and the showers/rest rooms are in good working order.

The center hosts a variety of amenities. Ten newly renovated Theme Rooms, accommodate the growing demand for adult retreat sleeping quarters and will sleep 34 adults, if all beds are occupied. Two dorm style rooms will sleep an additional 24 people, and our Health Center is converted during the winter to sleep another 8. We can host up to 62 people in the retreat center during the winter, and 54 during the summer.

The Ofstedal Center also has dining facilities for 120. The Ausland Lounge overlooking beautiful Red Willow Lake will host your group of up to 30 plus has a fireplace and the best view of the lake the camp has to offer. A viewing deck off the Ausland Lounge is an added plus in the summer.

'The Upper Room', an additional meeting room sits on the 2nd floor of the center and can accommodate your board retreat, youth event or other meeting. We can seat 30 in theater seating, or 25 around tables. It has a large dry erase board. In the summer it doubles as our staff lounge, so is not available from mid May to mid August.

We also have an accessible rest room on the main floor. An electric lift will help our guests who are unable to climb steps descend the 6 steps to our mezzanine level shower rooms.

The building also has a gym which can be used for volleyball, basketball or games. Bring your swim suit any time of the year to enjoy the large sauna tucked away behind the gym.

The Hospitality House was renovated in 2004 through the generosity of Farmers and Merchants Bank in Tolna, and with the help of their employees. The house sits in the center of our campus, close to the retreat center and parking. It features a kitchenette equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes and some basic food supplies. The living/dining area has a TV/VCR, couch that can convert to a twin bed, chairs, table and chairs. There is a large bedroom with a queen sized bed and a twin, as well as a small bedroom with bunkbeds. The bathroom has a shower/tub, stool and sink. There is one step up to the toilet and tub.

Church leaders are invited to use the Hospitality House for a time of study and reflection, and a way to find peace and quiet where cellular phones don't work, and you can read, hike or spend time in contemplation. Depending on the schedule at the retreat center, you are invited to eat meals with the staff, or prepare your own in the kitchenette.
