Couple's Retreat - La La La La La La La La La means I LOVE YOU! Really?!

September 28 - 30, 2012

This couple's retreat begins Friday night and ends Saturday afternoon, or you may stay one more night to enjoy a whole weekend getaway. The retreat will be led by Pastor Tim and Susan Johnson of Bismarck.

Susan and Tim share a love of music (we'll do a little), the written word (we'll hear a little), and memories that shape and build our future (we'll share a few). There are couples in the Bible that can be examples for us, but not many. There are couples whose faith and lives have enriched ours (we call them "Sweethearts We've Known"), and we look forward to hearing about the ones you've known and watched, whose love gives content to the "La La's" that mean "I Love You."

About the Presenters:
Pastor Tim and Susan have been married for 35 years and are the parents of Andrew (33) and Anna (27). During that time they've presented for Valentine banquets and a number of pre-marital group sessions with many couples. For many years, Susan wrote Church School curriculum for Augsburg Fortress and just finished a number of years as the Managing Editor of Fortress Books. Tim began his ministry in Ashley, ND, and has served as senior pastor of congregations in Cottage Grove and Anoka, MN, and United Lutheran in Grand Forks. He currently serves Good Shepherd in Bismarck.

Cost: $140 per couple for one night stay
$160 per couple for two nights

Dog Sledding Experience

Enjoy a 2 hour dog sledding experience with hands-on learning at Red Willow Bible Camp! Space is limited to only 1 or 2 people per experience. Weekdays only!

Family Trail Ride

Saturday, September 29, 2012
2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Enjoy the beautiful hills and trails at the camp on a Saturday afternoon. Bring a horse, and saddle up at about 2:00 pm for a day the whole family can enjoy. We will explore the far corners of the camp and check out the springs and hills surrounding the camp. Enjoy a cowboy supper and campfire at the end of the trail ride.

Cost: $10 per person or $40 per family
