Happening this Month

Spring is a great time for a retreat...and we have several adult and youth retreats ahead before our busy summer season is in full swing:

Adult Retreats

North Dakota Quilt Council Spring Retreat

April 25-27
Quilters unite! Come to Red Willow this spring for a wonderful time away from the phone, the demands of family and home, and sew to your heart's content. A massage therapist will be at the retreat Friday night to work out the knots, and leave you refreshed for the weekend ahead. Tes Weeks-Murphy from the Quilted Rabbit of Grand Forks will be the vendor. Click here to register and for more information.

Youth Retreats

'All Access' Junior High Retreat

April 18-19 *NEW DATE
Bring your 7th-9th graders to the camp for this Friday/Saturday retreat. They will have a lot of fun, hear great music and learn about the wonderful way Christ has provided 'Full Access' to our Father through his death and resurrection. Based on Ephesians 2:17-18, "For through Him we both have access to the Father..." Cost is $45 per student. Register now for this spring event.

The Lord's Prayer Confirmation Retreat

April 18-19
This is the third in our series on Luther's Small Catechism. Pastors from Tri-County Ministry bring the teachings of Luther to the 7th-9th graders in a fun retreat atmosphere. In this retreat, students will study the Lord's Prayer and how important prayer is in the life of Christians. There will also be time to enjoy being outside, playing games and having campfire. Cost is $40 per student. Click here to register...

News

Introducing our newest staff member:

On April 1, (no fooling!) Ken Gilbertson of Binford stepped into the position of Site Manager for Red Willow Ministries. Ken brings a lot of experience and talent to the job, as he has operated the Binford Cafe for the past 9 years. He and his wife Lori have a daughter, Emmy, 15. Welcome to the Red Willow Bible Camp family, Ken.

Volunteers Needed

Dates for scheduled Work Days:
May 10, May 17, May 30-31

Getting the camp ready for summer campers is a big job...and one we just can't do alone. So....we invite you to come to camp for a few hours or a few days to help in a way that works for you. Love to rake oak leaves? We have a rake for you! Enjoy painting? We have the supplies. Prefer to do a little wood working? We have windows to install, doors to hang and the tools to make it happen.

The improvements to our camp over the past three years are astounding...and it is happening because our friends and supporters are coming out to help. Most of our cabins and all of our theme rooms in the retreat center have been adopted.

The chapel could use a few more sponsoring churches to prepare it for its 60th Anniversary in 2009. Call us....we would be happy to match you, your family or church group to a worthwhile project.

New Website

It Rocks! That's what the staff thinks about the new web site. It not only looks good, but it's good for you! You will be able to find the information you are looking for much more easily, and it will open in all of the web browsers. We appreciate all that Genesis Gaule, our web designer has done to get our ideas and needs into such a great format.

So welcome to our new web site and we hope you enjoy receiving our e-newsletter.
