Christmas Blessings
From Dennis Goetz, Co-Director
This is the time of year that we are generally more mindful of our blessings and of how God decided to make it easier for us to know Him through his son, the Christ child. Our mission is to help people grow in their relationship with God by using the tools of outdoor ministry.
Please consider making a year-end gift donation to this camp. Any donation makes you a "Friend of Red Willow." Your friendship would be a real Christmas blessing for our ministry. A direct donation can be matched if you are a Thrivent member. We can send you a Thrivent application or you can also easily donate online.
We also appreciate the many individuals and groups who give the gift of their time and talents through becoming a volunteer and helping to fulfill our needs list.
If you are interested in talking about other possible gifting to the camp, such as pledging, estate planning, liquidation of assets that may provide tax advantages, please let us know. Call Dennis at (701) 676-2681.
Many blessings to you and your family this Christmas season!

Preaching? Me? Up front?
January 30-31, 2010
Lay leaders and pastors are invited to Red Willow to explore the joys and struggles of writing sermons. If you have ever wondered how a sermon is put together or you've ever wanted to try your hand at writing a sermon, this event is for you! Pastors will share their insights on what works and what doesn't work in the sermon writing process.
Participants will also work on a scripture text and prepare an actual sermon. Sunday morning will provide opportunities to preach the sermon. If you prefer not to preach, no worry! Plan to worship and hear the sermons
other participants have written.

$25 after January 15th
Meals:
