Wanted: Summer Camp Staff
Summer Staff SOS
HELP! I am sending out an SOS (Stock our Staff). Staff training starts mid-May and summer is sneaking up on us.
We still have positions available:
Our biggest need is for men who are 19 or older with a servant’s heart to be senior counselors. We can’t have boy campers if we don’t have male counselors.
Please spread the word about our need by telling your congregation, telling your coworkers, posting “Help Wanted” signs around your neighborhood, making up a song and singing it while walking through the mall...!!
Job descriptions and applications for all open positions are posted on our website.
Happy April,
Allison,
Program Director

Annual Meeting
Sunday, April 11, 2010
Starting at 3:00 pm
Supper served at 5:00 pm
All are invited to come to Red Willow Ministry's annual meeting. We especially encourage our congregations camp ambassadors to attend. Share your stories and be involved in your camp's vision and mission.
Become A Camp Ambassador
Since we have so many congregations to serve, it is impossible to have regular communication with each of you. That is why we depend upon volunteer ambassadors for the camp.
We are asking each congregation in the Eastern ND Synod to appoint an ambassador for the camp in 2010. This is strictly a voluntary position and duties are at the comfort level of each ambassador.
Duties are primarily to:
- act as advocates for sending kids to camp
- share the story of Red Willow
- thank congregations for their support
- ask that church councils consider including Red Willow Ministries in their annual budget
Please prayerfully consider your role in the ministry of your camp. Contact camp office if you are interested. We would love to hear from you!
Spring Camp Clean-up
Volunteers Needed!
It’s that time of year when we think about outdoor projects and a variety of spring cleanup tasks that need to be done here at RWBC before the summer camping season starts.
Dates have been set next month for Camp Work Days:
The camp will provide a noon meal and if you would like to stay overnight, we can arrange for that too.
Call Ken if you are willing to share your time and talents with us anytime you are able to help out!
Save the Date
There are lots of great events coming up at Red Willow. Make sure to put these on your calendar and keep an eye on the website for more details.

Summer Camp 2010
"Life!"
For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
- Ephesians 2:10
This summer is about a promise and the life that God has given us and our response of gratitude, humility, awe and wonder.. The promise made to our ancestors, and the promise God is holding true to us today. The promise of LIFE!
