Our campers enjoy a wide range of experiences at Red Willow! Some camper favorites include GAGA BALL and our in-ground POOL. 5th graders and up can take CANOES, KAYAKS, and PADDLE BOARDS out on our lake.
Adventurous cabins can enjoy HIKING or MOUNTAIN BIKING on our 500 acres. Our counselors also teach lots of special activities during the week, including ARCHERY, sometimes SKITS & ACTING, and even nine square in the pool!
Our ORA (Outdoor Recreation Area) has two CARPETBALL tables, a MINI GOLF course, and three BASKETBALL hoops. Campers can relax with a snack at the CANTEEN or challenge themselves on the TRAVERSE CLIMBING WALL.
Our youngest campers are guided through their first few experiences with camp. First and second graders are welcomed to camp with an adult during our TASTE OF CAMP program, while second and third graders can experience a short 3-day week through our PATHFINDERS program. As campers get a little older, they begin to experience more and more of camp. Our CREATION campers get to come for a full week of camp. They enjoy their first trip in canoes as well as an overnight tent camping experience. Those campers looking for a physical challenge are invited to our HOLY HOOPS JUNIOR camp for a week of intense basketball training with our experienced coaches.
Middle & High School Campers
Campers get to experience even more choice through our DISCIPLES camp. They can ask hard questions and take time to spend with friends. These campers (and high schoolers too!) are also welcome to our WILDERNESS WEEK program for a week full of adventure. They will cook all of their meals and learn wilderness survival skills. Our oldest campers pick from a range of experiences. Previous Holy Hoops campers looking for more challenge can attend our HOLY HOOPS ADVANCED program. Campers who love Red Willow and are ready to take the next step are invited to AMP! CAMP for leadership training and team building. Those who have attended Amp! Camp are also invited to return during the summer as a COUNSELOR IN TRAINING.
Red Willow Ministries employs qualified, compassionate young people to take care of our campers. Summer staff go through a rigorous screening process, including applications, interviews, and background checks.
